Raj M. Ravi is the Managing Director for Prudential Commercial Real Estate FL with offices in Tampa and Palm Harbor where he is responsible for managing both offices. This full service brokerage firm has specialized in all facets of commercial real estate services, including property management and the sales and leasing of land, office, retail, industrial, multi-family and business brokerage for over 50 years. Prudential Commercial Real Estate FL is consistently ranked among the top commercial real estate brokerages according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
Raj has been personally responsible for transactions throughout the Tampa Bay market, anywhere from site selection and land sales to industrial and office sales and leasing for local, regional and national commercial real estate investors and tenants, including a wide array of sectors from banks to physician groups to national developers.
Raj is involved with the FGCAR Board of Directors (Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors, Inc.), James P. Gills YMCA Advisory Board, PEDC Board (Pasco Economic Development Council) and the Pasco Education Foundation’s Take Stock in Children Mentoring Program.
As a CCIM, Certified Commercial Investment Member, Raj is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.
Before joining Prudential Commercial in 2004, Raj had several years of worldwide business experience having worked for IBM Global Services, Micromuse (now an IBM affiliate), and as a reseller for Visionary Medical Systems. Raj’s time with these highly reputable companies enabled him to gain vast experience while working throughout London, New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas and the Tampa Bay area.
Raj graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Decision and Information Sciences from the Warrington College of Business. Previously, he attended Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, FL.
He currently enjoys spending time with his wife Renata, son Raj and family and friends. He also enjoys swimming, biking and running and participating in triathlons.
